The Punjab Ministry of Religious Affairs has decided to launch Phase II of the registration process for mosque imams, under which registered imams will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs25,000.
Phase II will cover the remaining divisions, districts, cities and tehsils – including all six districts of Rawalpindi Division – where mosque imams were left out during the first phase.
