Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan on Thursday met delegations from various districts, elected public representatives, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers, and citizens at his office in the Civil Secretariat, where he reviewed public issues and directed authorities to ensure their prompt resolution.
During the meetings, the delegations highlighted concerns related to ongoing development projects, basic public services, civic facilities, and administrative matters in their respective areas. The minister listened to the issues in detail, contacted the relevant departments on the spot, and issued directives for immediate action. He warned that unnecessary delays in resolving genuine public grievances would not be tolerated.
Shafi Jan said the provincial government remained committed to public welfare, transparent governance, the rule of law, and effective public representation in line with the vision of PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan. He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, the government was working to address public isues through transparency, merit, accountability, and improved service delivery.
