In a significant welfare initiative for employees of the education sector, the Chief Executive Officer of the District Education Authority (DEA) Rawalpindi has approved financial assistance cases for the legal heirs of 15 teachers and employees who passed away while in service.
In this regard, orders have been issued for the disbursement of a total of Rs42.1 million under the government’s Financial Assistance Package. The measure is expected to provide substantial financial relief to the bereaved families of the deceased employees.
DEA CEO Muhammad Yaseen Khan Baloch has also approved 163 long-pending leave encashment cases relating to male and female teachers and education department employees.
