While the United States and Iran are engaged in fragile negotiations mediated by Pakistan to end the war, Senator Faisal Vawda has revealed that Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir was “facilitating complex negotiations and was personally involved in drafting a possible peace agreement.”

Senator Vawda further stated that he expected major global leaders to visit Pakistan within days or weeks for what he described as a historic development in global peace efforts.
