Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday met Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam and exchanged views on regional developments, bilateral relations, and opportunities for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and Iran.

In a post on X, the governor said he emphasised the importance of peace, dialogue, and regional stability during the meeting, while the discussions were also focused on avenues to strengthen trade, economic engagement, and people-to-people contacts between the two countries.

Kundi added that opportunities for greater cooperation between K-P and Iran were also explored through increased commercial, parliamentary, and cultural exchanges.

He said Pakistan remained committed to promoting peace and constructive engagement for the prosperity and stability of the region.
