Four people, including a woman and a child, were killed while two others were injured in two roof collapse incidents on Wednesday.

In the Chak 381 GB along Jaranwala Road, a roof under construction collapsed after a wall reportedly weakened, causing the structure to fall. As a result, one-year-old Ali Hassan, 22-year-old Sadiya Bibi and 22-year-old Rehana were critically injured and later died. A man and his son were injured in the incident.

Rescue 1122 teams retrieved the bodies from the debris and shifted the injured to a hospital. Police completed legal formalities and handed over the bodies to the families.

In a separate incident in Amaanat Town, Kharrianwala, a roof being repaired at a livestock shed collapsed after a girder slipped.
